Apache Axis2 is the leading open source Web services engine from Apache Software Foundation. Apache Axis2 supports SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2, REST-style Web services and many other Web services specifications through its modular architecture and supporting projects. This "Beginner" course is the first of a broader e-learning series on Apache Axis2, which also includes "Intermediate" and "Advanced" courses. This course has been designed to familiarize developers with Apache Axis2, and introduce the surrounding technologies including XML, SOAP, XMLSchema and WSDL.
