If you intend to migrate from Axis1 to Axis2, one major issue you'd face is that Axis1 mainly supports RPC/encoded WSDL style, whereas Axis2 does not support that style. Hence you can not straight away use Axis1 WSDL when you migrate to axis2. You need to convert your WSDL to a document/literal or a document/literal wrapped style.
