WSO2 ESB Eclipse Editor Feature 1.0.0-beta Release Notes

We introduce WSO2 ESB Eclipse Editor Feature, a tool provided by WSO2 for the purpose of creating, impoting and invoking sequences, endpoints and proxy services. The tool is created as a plug-in for the popular IDE Eclipse.

The tool is targeted for the WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus.

These tools are available under the Apache Software License (v2.0) . This includes all of the extra integration and management functionality as well.

Key Features

  • Creating Sequences, EndPoints and Proxy Services
  • Importing Sequences, EndPoints and Proxy Services
  • Invoking Sequences, EndPoints and Proxy Services

Known Issues

  1. Does not allow to select the project once the wizard pops up.
  2. Single session attribute will be maintained. If you have un-saved items in one editor and move to another editor, information of the previous editor might be lost.
  3. Registry browser will not be supported. As a result, mediators that work in-hand with registry browser such as xslt will not be supported as well.
  4. Recommended version of Java is jdk 1.5.
