User Registration
User Registration in Gadget server can be done in several ways. The user is given an option to create new user accounts, use their OpenID or Infocard accounts to register with the system.
Username / Password based
The traditional way in registering with the system. the users can easily create a new account with the
system
and sign in.
OpenID Based
WSO2 Gadget server also provides OpenID as an authentication mechanism. Users can register to the system
using their OpenID
accounts. Users with OpenIDs will be mapped with user accounts in the gadget server at the first
login attempt. From then on the user can use OpenID for authentication.
Infocard Based
For windows based environments (With Internet Explorer) WSO2 Gadget server
provides Infocard based authentication. The steps are as follows.
