I got ubuntu 7.10 working for the 1.2.1 - I wrote my steps on here http://phpwebservices.blogspot.com/2008/03/installing-wsfphp-121-in-ubuntu.html
Anyway for 1.3.0 we are not packing debs for 7.10, so good to mark this as resolve
