As I also had a chat with Manoj regarding this, I like to add my 
thoughts. We have the PHP class (which contain the details of the 
service) as the base of the PHP web service and in comparison Java side 
we have the .dbs configuration file, and in oder to bring both in to a 
common base we can have extension that accepts .dbs file and generate 
the PHP Web services class.

As I understood when supporting other database in PHP ( Other than MySQL 
support which is like in built ) the come parameter on the config clause 
of the .dbs file also will be useful in the .dbs -> PHP web service 
scenario.
