Hi Dushshantha,

The rationale behind having two seperate install files was to help users of seperate platforms have a separate install file for each platform, and make it more user friendly, instead of having the user to scroll through a lot of unwanted information. The INSTALL file is also included to preserve consistency. However, we need the openion of other developers before making a decision on this.
