[wsf-c-dev] [Ruby] Things to poder on WSF/Ruby

I have some initial points that we need to discuss and find solutions to.

1. What is the service deployment model? With WSF/PHP, we use httpd with
mod_php. Can a similar model be adopted for Ruby?
2. What should the API look like? Can we use more or less the same API
as in the case of WSF/PHP? Similar to the way we have documented WSF/PHP
API, we have to document the Ruby API. Also we have to follow the same
rules that we followed in case of WSF/PHP - no code changes without
changing the API doc. And all the API design decisions are to be
discussed over the mailing list.
3. How are we going to package our releases. It has to be as simple as
the WSF/PHP installation. For PHP, it is the 'configure;make;make
install' triple.
4. What Ruby lists should we be on? For PHP, we are on the php-soap
list. We basically have to look into how we can best engage the Ruby
community.

What else do we need to discuss/plan for?

Thanks,
Samisa...
