The discussion will be easier to follow if everybody:

- uses appropriate subject lines (e.g. "External dependencies" not
"Issues for next generation C stack")

- edits the message they are replying to so that only the part that is
relevant to the reply is included (this is a good rule to follow for
mailing lists generally)
