install.bat from the extracted dist zip, fails on consequent attempts

I ran the install.bat from wso2wsas-SNAPSHOT\bin. After starting, I did CTRL+C and stopped the batch process. Then when I tried to run it again, I get

C:\Apache\wso2wsas-SNAPSHOT\bin>install.bat
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/wso2/wsas/installer/InstallationManager
C:\Apache\wso2wsas-SNAPSHOT\bin

This occurs regardless of whether I press Y or N at
