Team,
Do we have answers? Please think in a customer's shoes about questions like these that will help us be better citizens
in their data centers.
1. Can i use my existing LDAP infrastructure for Authentication/Authorization (users/roles)?
2. Can i stick stick an Apache HTTPD instance in front of WSAS? (Documentation if yes).
3. How can i use Oracle or MYSQL instead of the embedded derby?
4. How do i create the tables that you need? do you have scripts for Oracle?
5. How do i configure the logging to send alerts to syslog (HINT: google for SyslogAppender)
6. How do i back up configs/Services? (my corporate policy is to have daily/weekly/monthly backups)
7. How can i replicate/mirror a whole WSAS server? (so that i can create a backup machine in case for hardware
failures)
8. Do you have any suggestions on deployment lifecycle? I typically have a Development environment, Testing Environment
and Production Environment. How do i "promote" services from one environment to another?
thanks,
dims
