Unable to subscribe resources feed.

I tried to subscribe resource feeds by clicking the "subscribe to this feed" button. Upon button click new tab window is opened and then Dialog box came up with download or save options. I choose download option and proceed to view the downloaded resource. I got the following xml entry in the resource file content.
