[Registry-dev] proposal: add rename(oldPath, newPath) method

I think we need a method to rename a resource after creating it. In 
particular, I made a mistake when creating the sample data that we shipped 
with 0.1 where I forgot to put it under /sample. What I want to do is the 
equivalent of the following:

mkdir /sample
mv /people /sample/people
mv /projects /sample/projects

Thoughts?
