I would agree that if you go the Java/JS route you should carefully
look at GWT. I have used it extensively when it was first released
(and was not fully OSS) and even at that time it was impressive.

I no longer do Java/GWT but I am sure GWT got WAY BETTER now. Though
can't say the same about Java...
Anyhow, worth a look as per Ajith's comments and some other reasons...
I am less convinced of Flex/Apollo, especially with Google Gears now
and other alternatives. However, if you want to do fancy anim or
cool presentation, Flex/Apollo may be the best choice.

So no IE for me... thus cannot look at this, but it would be
interesting since could be complementary to some work here.
(We will work to make our stuff OSS so, hope you guys don't mind me
joining this forum)
