[esb-java-dev] Rule challenge?

Maybe someone wants to do something with Synapse and WSO2 ESB?

Although we aren't as pure a rule based system as say Esper or Drools, 
it seems to me we might qualify in a number of ways.

1) We could demonstrate Synapse+Esper
2) We could demonstrate XPath, Regex based rules for routing and 
transformation
3) We could demonstrate building simple declarative rules in scripting 
languages such as Groovy, XSLT and E4X.

One of the criteria is being distributed and web-based, interoperable etc.

Thoughts?
