Creating your own WSO2 Carbon components - Thursday, 26th August

The recent release of WSO2 Carbon helps software architects and developers to seamlessly add product capabilities to their enterprise middleware projects as they grow. At the heart of Carbon is the ability to mix and match components from separate key functional areas to adapt the platform to your specific needs.

Based on the OSGI - The Dynamic Modular System for Java, WSO2 Carbon provides componentized middleware platform with enterprise class capabilities such as security, clustering, logging, statistics, and management.

After a brief introduction to the Carbon platform and OSGi technology, your presenter Sameera Jayasoma, will illustrate extending this comprehensive middleware platform by developing a sample Carbon component and provisioning it into the platform.
