In this introduction to the WSO2 Mashup Server, we will present an innovative and powerful solution for enabling “scriptable Web Services” within your enterprise. We’ll also explore the WSO2 Mashup Server’s facilities to get information into and out of Web Services through Web page scraping and building rich HTML interfaces, reading and writing feeds, and writing event streams to email or instant messaging.
Your presenter, Jonathan Marsh, is the Director of Architecture for Mashup Technologies, and led the design and development of the Mashup Server. Jonathan, a product designer and devoted script-hacker, has spent over ten years developing and standardizing XML and Web Service technologies, most recently at Microsoft where he contributed to the standardization of XML, XSLT, XPath, WSDL, and other technologies.
