error starting ESB server in ubuntu 9.10

I'm having this error when trying to run ESB in Ubuntu 9.10. I tried both OpenJDK and Sun JVMs with same result. Running the very same distribution (coming from the same tar.gz) in a Mac works ok. I'm also running BPS, Registry and Identity with no problems in the same Ubuntu machine. $ ./wso2server.sh Error occurred during initialization of VM java/lang/ClassNotFoundException: error in opening JAR file /home/santiago/wso2esb-2.1.2/lib/endorsed/._xercesImpl-2.8.1.wso2v1.jar

This is a fix...

Hello, I fixed this problem by removing ._* files. It then booted properly. If you do development on one box and move the files to another be careful, especially if one box is Mac and the other Linux. all the best, Kai
