Not able to call a WebService over a Proxy Service Configuration

igbch's picture
Hi everybody, I try to use a WebService through a Proxy Service. On my Windows Box everything works as designed. Now I moved to AIX 6L and I get the following problem: WSO2 Works and I am able to log on the Management Console. I'm able to register a WebService which is on another Unix Box. When I try to get the WSDL by the Proxy Service, nothing happens, it's just saying in the Browser "Waiting for http://h50ab50:8280/services/PAX_PartnerFinder " In the log I get a ERROR - ServerHandler Connection Timeout - before message body was fully read : [/10.51.240.225:3121]. What can be the problem? best regards, Igor

Igor, Is your WSDL a very

Igor, Is your WSDL a very large one? When you try to get the WSDL through the proxy it actually download the WSDL from the remote server, so if the WSDL is too large there can be a timeout. Rajika

WSLD not very large

Hi, thanks for your response. My WSDL is not very large, just around 11 KB, on Windows the operation is a matter of second, on AIX 6L I face this problem. By the way: Using WSO2 on Windows the same operation getting the wsdl works fine. Using the same on AIX 6L I get the problem. I can use with https://hxxyyzz:9443/carbon/admin the management console While I use http://hxxyyzz:8280/services/PAX_PartnerFinder?wsdl I get in this timeout problem. Using http://hxxyyzz:9443/services/PAX_PartnerFinder?wsdl for getting the url, I get the response very quickly, can you figure out what's wrong with the configuration? best regards, Igor
