Customization and extension of wso2 WSAS and web console

Hi all, I'd like to have a guideline in order to extend WSO2 Carbon adding custom components (osgi bundles) I know how to develop bundles but I need some hint in order to understand what kind of api I have to use in order to develop the server feature and the UI part (new feature on the console) There are any examples? My idea, is for example adding management for services exposed through protocols other than soap An other thing is to customize the web console. Is it possible to do that installing bundles or bundle fragments?
