Endpoints with WS-Addressing

The samples here: WSO2 Governance Registry - Guide for Governance Registry Samples show how to add a custom UI to allow entering endpoints into the registry which worked for me but my endpoints use WS-Addressing. If I enter an endpoint through the ESB I get a lot of options (timeouts, suspend, Qos, etc...) and the endpoints work. If I try to use the registry I just get name, description and URI and my application cannot seem to read it through the ESB. The service always returns "The server did not provide a meaningful reply; this might be caused by a contract mismatch, a premature session shutdown or an internal server error." Is there a way to get all the options under the ESB endpoints screen in the registry so we can use it to store the endpoints? thanks

Re: Endpoints with WS-Addressing

Hi, There is no actual relationship between the G-Reg custom UI sample and an Endpoint in the ESB. However, with some careful investigation and coding you could achieve it. The resulting code would be too complicated for a beginner looking at this sample and therefore, we are not looking forward to improve it to support such an advanced use-case. However, should you need any help, please drop an e-mail to the Carbon Developer mailing list, [1]. [1] http://wso2.org/mail/ Thanks, Senaka.

Can I do it through the interface by adding a new Media Type in /system/mime.types/index? I would really like to use the registry for my endpoints since it provides better searching and allows tagging.

Re: Can I do it through the

Hi, Adding a new Media Type will only make it easier for users, since the Media Type would be listed in the UI, in the drop down list. Other than that, it doesn't do anything special. Also, since this is a Media Type which is for a Custom UI, you need to add it at /system/mime.types/index/custom.ui. Thanks, Senaka.
