How to connect to ldaps instead of ldap?

So I'm having a problem with using my external store as ldaps instead of ldap. Clearly to work over SSL I need a certificate, so I've included it in one of the keystores. So, now what? It still seems unable to see it. Am I supposed to use XKMS somehow? If so, what do I do exactly? The documentation seems on the sparse side.

Also!

Er, also, after uploading a keystore file, where does it store it? My keystore I uploaded does not appear anywhere in the keystore. Plus in XKMS by default it is keystore.jks , where is this file located? I do not seem to have any file by this name on my server.

Solved!

I solved all my worries just by editing the XML and linking it to a keystore containing all the certificates I wanted. It would have been nicer to have found out how to do this via the admin console though.
