WSO2 registry as service : Configuration detail

Hi, I just have a look to the registry as service function and found it very nice and very well configured. Eg : role permission more detailed, look configurable , easier to start using it I imagine that all these customizations are performed based on register.xml and usr-mgt.xml file. Congratulations! Unfortunately my end user does not agree to use an external tool then I need to configure an internal registry. Could it be psosible to have more information about the configuration detail ? Thanks in advance

Hi Patrick, Yes this is possible. The configuration files are meant for convenience and customisability. You can easily tweak the two configuration processor source files, create a patched version of the jars and drop it inside the $CARBON_HOME/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/patches folder inside a directory named patch001. After downloading the source packs, you should be able to find two files named org/wso2/carbon/registry/core/config/RegistryConfigurationProcessor.java and another named org/wso2/carbon/user/core/internal/Activator.java. Thanks for the reply Senaka. I just try to have a look at the document you refer as [1]http://wso2.org/library/tutorials/learning-registry-xml but I am not able to get it (even if I am registered on the site with my account). Get ==> " Access denied You are not authorized to access this page. " Is it possible to get this document in another place? I will have a look on the source code and the java class you mentioned. By the way my question was "Is complete source/configuration details of the product is available somwhere on your SVN repository ?" Is it possible to get it ? Regards

Hi, I'm sorry that you were unable to browse the tutorial. I will look into this. Regarding the code files, yes you are welcome to try out our source code on the svn. [1] is for the latest release. [2] gives you all the 3.0.x releases, and [3] is the trunk. To build the trunk, you will need to build, carbon-orbit, carbon, components, and solutions/governance.
