WSO2 Registry in action

Hello guys, I am still a new user of the WSO2 Registry product. I read most of your documentation, forum, user guide, installation guide,... but none answer to the question : how do I have to start configuring the registry in order to have a safe and secure system ready to be used, what are the basic organisation steps ? I means my needs are really standard. Here are the conditions: * I have to configure the registry tool in an entreprise environment. * Each service will go through 4 environments : DEV/TEST/ACCEPTANCE/TRAINING/PRODUCTION * Each Service can be versioned because several version of a service can co-exist in one same environment * I need to have two kinds of user : One Admin and one reader ( meaning someone that is able to browse all the service in order to discover what is existing in which environment) Here is what I already perform or detect as information : * Registry installation & configuration with MySql ==> ok really easy * It seems that I should manage my differents environment with the LifeCycle system (promoting or demoting the service from environemnt) ==> Question : What is an endpoints ? I did not find any information about this but I see that it contains environement like test/dev as value... whats the relation with the lifeCycle * About the Version of the service I find the thread in the forum (#5791) explaining that registry does not support multiple version of a single service in the same lifeCycle. The versioning system is a simple version counter ==> need to duplicate the service and mange the version logically (probably in the name or in separate logical directory ... is that correct ? Some confusing concept : * What is permlink and what is the real usage of a checkpoint (in resource)? * Whats the difference between Adding a service or adding a resource ? * whats the difference between adding a Wsdl from the add wsdl functionality (only url accepted) and adding a resource that is a wsdl ? * Could you give pratical usage of remote/symbolic link I stop my question for the moment ... Thanks in advance for the answers See you Pat
