[wsf-javascript-dev] What's under WSF/AJAX and WSF/Javascript
Hi,
WSO2 WSF/AJAX includes XPI
(http://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/wsf/javascript/xpi/) and ActiveX
(http://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/wsf/javascript/activex/) projects.
Recently after a discussion with Thilina I was told Rhino
(http://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/wsf/javascript/rhino/) and Native
(http://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/wsf/javascript/native/) will be 2
editions of WSO2 WSF/Javascript project.
But it seems there's confusion about this. Native like XPI and ActiveX
will be part of WSO2 WSF/AJAX while Rhino remains under WSF/Javascript?
Is this correct? If so then there's only one edition under
WSF/Javascript. Can you call Rhino an edition of WSF/Javascript? Are
there going to be more sub projects/editions under WSF/Javascript in the
future?
Please confirm.
Thanks,
Chatra

Hmm.. At that time WSF/AJAX thing did not come to my mind :(

Yes. AFAIK Native is also a wsrequest implementation aimed to be used
inside a browser... IMHO WSF/AJAX would be the right place for that..

Rajika is looking in to the possibility of creating a SpiderMonkey
(Rhino counterpart in the C world) implementation. But still we are not
sure whether it's possible..

Thilina

XPI,
ActiveX
Javascript- This is Javascript Native, but will be known as WSO2
WSF/AJAX Javascript
2. WSO2 WSF/Javascript include
