Active Directory Integration does not work properly

I can login with an AD user account but when I search for the users e.g.(f* or k* or *) and click Search it does not show any users. I then click cancel, go back and refresh the page and go to 'edit users' again and I see the user/s from my search result. But if we have more than one page of users there is no navigation to go to the next page.

Also if I pick just 1 user and try to add a second user that does not work but the first user gets replaced by the 2nd user in the role. So the 'Update' is not adding existing users in the role but it just replaces existing users with the new users. There should be a way to add new users to the existing list.

Also, even if I assign all rights to any AD user they still cannot see the Resources to add resources although this works for internal users. When any AD user clicks on the 'Resources' link we get a blank right pager and the following error. This is with all available permissions assigned to the users as follows:

Assigned Permissions login, manage-configuration, manage-security, upload-services, manage-services, manage-mediation, monitor-system
