Any Way To Get bpelc Compiler Output?

criecke's picture
OK, so I have a project with a deploy.xml, wsdl files and a .bpel process which works on plain ol' Apache Ode. I zip it up and upload it to BPS 1.0.1, and I get "deploy.xml not found." Evidently that means something in the deploy.xml or bpel file is throwing an error. With plain ol' Ode, I get some helpful compiler output and stack traces when something doesn't compile. How do I get that output in BPS? I tried turning all the org.apache.ode log4j output to debug (through the UI), and get some extra output during running, but still no compiler messages. You'd probably want to forward those errors to the UI or at least the console by default, right?

Yes, we need to improve the logs in this scenario. We are currently working on next release. Please report this issue at https://wso2.org/jira/browse/BPS. Also it's better if you can report any issues you find and that will help us to improve our product.

Will do! I wasn't sure if this was (1) a bug (2) a feature request (3) something obvious that I was missing. Craig Riecke, Co-Author, "Mastering Dojo" (Pragmatic)
