Deployed service not being refreshed

Create and deploy Data Service - no probs. However when changing the SQL string in the specification config, it does not propagate the change to the run time code (.dbs) Here it is: Config file has the following sql string: select empno, ename, job from emp when running I get: soapenv:Receiver [TestDataService] Exception occurred while trying to execute the SQL statement : select id, name, address from employee.Message from the server is : Cheers, JP

Hi, In order to enable "hotupdate", you need to set the following element to true in DS_HOME/conf/axis2.xml. <parameter name="hotupdate">true</parameter> After updating this, make sure to restart the server. Then you can update data service configuration while server is up and running. Regards Charitha
