Mashup carbon version ( does it will support connection pools? )

Hello, in a precedent post I received a reply that states that the 2.0 version ( maybe available around June ) can be deployed as WAR into specific application servers ( e.g. WebSphere, JBoss, etc.. etc... ). The question is, does the new version will support connection pools in order to work with pool provider by the application server? Thanks
