Error when compiling samples

Hi, I'm using WSF/PHP and everything works perfectly. Now, I would want to write web-services in C directly. I guessed I do not need to install anything else since WSF/C is already in WSF/PHP. So, I wanted to recompile the samples in the /usr/lib/php5/20060613/wsf_c/samples/axis2c/ but I got this error when running build.sh gcc -g -O2 -ansi -Wall -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE -Wno-implicit-function-declaration -o echo echo.o -L/lib -laxutil -laxis2_axiom -laxis2_engine -laxis2_parser -lpthread -laxis2_http_sender -laxis2_http_receiver -ldl /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -laxutil collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [echo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/php5/20060613/wsf_c/samples/axis2c/client/echo' make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/lib/php5/20060613/wsf_c/samples/axis2c/client' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 Any idea what's the problem? WSF/PHP package is not designed for C development and its built system is implemented in such a way to make the installation procedure for a php user as pain less as possible. If you are interested in implementing C based web services development, please download WSF/C package. It contains wide array of samples and documentation. Regards Nandika
