Hi Is it possible to use a Scraper object outside Mashup Server environment? I mean, creating a simple javascript function to scrape webpages, and using it from a simple HTML page. Thanks

hey, The Scraper object is server side javascript, which is Mashup Server specific. What you can do is write a Mashup, which does the scraping and call that mashup from your HTML. Hope this helps, Tyrell

+1 to Tyrell, a mashup or some kind of server-side process is the best way. Cross-site scripting and data access restrictions make client-side scraping unreasonable in the most cases, even if you packaged up a scraper as a Java applet or wrote a scraper in native Javascript.
