Adding sequence doesn't bring up dialog box for name

How do I add a new sequence? I go to Sequences->Add, add in a DBLookup mediator and click on save. The help says a dialog box should be displayed but one isn't. It refreshes the data to show it's accepted it and nothing else happens. Save/Save As both do the same. How to I save a sequence? (v1.7.1 on Firefox 3) S.

mmm... I'll answer my own

mmm... I'll answer my own question here - It looks like a bug (either in ESB or Firefox 3). In IE7 the sequence name field is displayed so I can save the sequence. In FF3 it isn't! Steve

Hi Steve, Please have a look

Hi Steve, Please have a look at the new ESB 2.0 beta release which seems to fix most of the browser compatibility issues. Thanks Ruwan Linton

I have been looking at the

I have been looking at the 2.0beta release, however it does not allow you to sepcify a WSDL in a proxy service. Edit a proxy service - Select the general tab. There is a combo box next to publishing WSDL. This comtains none, pick from registry and specify in-line. There is a missing option of original url like in 1.7.1, and picking either of the other 2 boxes do nothing - ie pick from registry doesn't give me the registry to pick, and specify in-line doesn't give me a box to paste my WSDL into. Saving the proxy with the publishing URL always reverts it back to None. Steve

Steve, Are you trying beta2,

Steve, Are you trying beta2, we just released the beta3 version and these issues should be fixed on the beta3 release. If you find anything not working please report them on the CARBON issue management system, https://wso2.org/jira/browse/CARBON Thanks, Ruwan Linton

Hi, I have installed beta3 -

Hi, I have installed beta3 - The UI looks better though it's still difficult to create a proxy service against a .NET WSDL. Eg. http://firkin/DumbService/Service1.asmx?WDSL I click on add new proxy service. Select specify source URL and enter the URL above. It also adds in a "WSDL Resource" Location input box. What goes in here? I click on next. Create an in sequence anonymous mediator with a log. Select my endpoint (http://firkin/DumbService/Service1.asmx) and click next. Add an anonymous out mediator with send and no fault and click finish. The service list is reshown without my new service that I have set up above. I cannot re-edit any proxy that it thinks there has been an error on. If I specify an endpoint via the Mediation->endpoints the java console shows an error of "RPCInOnlyMessageReceiver URI is not absolute". If I specify an anonymous endpoint, and give it a source URL of "http://firkin/DumbService/Service1.asmx?WDSL" the java console outputs the error "Unable to locate the specified WSDL to build the service" - Putting this URL directly into a browser it shows the WSDL text fine! Looking into this with wget on the command line shows what is happening. ?WDSL returns a line in the header When this is found, the system should do a GET on this URL. It will returns something like <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> Here the actual address of the wsdl can be found as well as the endpoint address (This could be used to pre-populate the endpoint field). All this worked fine in v1.7.1 Steve
