Where is the trunk? Something is missing.

I need the "POST_TO_PATH" property very bad, and probably need to hack a few other things to get Microsoft integration to work. Question 1: Where is the trunk? When I checkout from https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/esb/java/ I just get empty folders with no java files. And even if I run maven I get the usual error failed to resolve artifact, just as I did with the source code from http://dist.wso2.org/products/esb/java/1.7.1/wso2-esb-java-1.7.1-src.zip Missing artifacts: 1) org.wso2.esb:org.wso2.esb.core:jar:2.0-SNAPSHOT 2) org.wso2.carbon:org.wso2.carbon.registry.service:jar:SNAPSHOT Question 2: Please show me where I can get the missing jars. Thx Peter

Re: Where is the trunk? Something is missing

Hi Future wso2 java products family will be based on OSGI component framework. All reusable functionality in ESB, WSAS or in any other wso2 product, will be reusable components.  Each product will be made as a sea of component. Each product can be extended just by adding components as needed.  ‘Carbon’ is the product that provides runtime for running, managing and monitoring each component. ESB will be based on carbon runtime with set of components. That is why you have seen that ‘https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/esb/java/’ is empty. We completely reuse runtime and components.   In order to build ESB from trunk you have to get source checkout and build following projects. [1] Carbon orbit - https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/carbon-orbit [2] Carbon https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/carbon [3] Synapse custom branch https://svn.wso2.org/repos/wso2/branches/synapse/1.2.wso2v1/ [4] Carbon component - https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/carbon-components [5] ESB - https://wso2.org/repos/wso2/trunk/esb/java Carbon orbit make third party library into OSGI bundle. Carbon provides runtime for component - running, managing, monitoring and any QOS Synapse custom branch provides stable synapse code base for next ESB release Carbon component – it is the sea of components Thanks Indika

At the same time, if you

At the same time, if you need access to the old code here is the pointer https://svn.wso2.org/repos/wso2/branches/esb/java/1.7-X/ Thanks, Ruwan Linton

thank you

I could not get it all to work in eclipse. But must important I could open synapse-transport and were able to fix POST_TO_PATH (that was before i was applied to 1.2.wso2v1) How ever I would love to hear if it is possible to run the esb in eclipse and how to do it. thanks Peter
