wso2 wsas - portability
Hi
I was searching for good tools for developing webservices applications and found your site. wsas sounds very promising.
Question: If i start developing applications in your wsas environment is there a dependecy that I should only deploy using wsas, or can I just deploy in tomcat/axis2.
In other words am I tied into wsas is it portable.
Please let me know.
Thanks

You wont be tied to WSAS
You wont have any dependancy on WSAS. WSAS is really a conveniant version of Axis2 (With Rampart and so on tightly coupled), so there wont be any issues when porting your application from WSAS to tomcat/axis2 or vice versa.
Thanks,
Keith.
WSAS = Enterprise Ready Axis2
In fact, WSAS is the enteprise-ready version of Axis2. Security, Reliable messaging, High Availability & High Scalability are essential features of an enterprise application deployment. In other words, WSAS provides a number of useful value additions to Axis2.
The Web service development library shipped with WSAS is Axis2 and the services deployed in WSAS are Axis2 services, hence the services are portable from Axis2 to WSAS and vice versa.
