CardSpace authentication module for desktop OSs are sorely needed

It's great to see this product finally released, congratulations! I have been waiting to get my hands on a fully open CardSpace implementation and would like to demonstrate it at work as well. I can't tell you how important this will be for a number of organisations.

Obviously, this capability is most impressive and also easiest to test when we have a *client-side* authentication module that holds the user's authentication tokens. Server-side modules are OK for application-to-application authentication, but authentication based on individual (human) identity is key, because even operations performed by an application are done on behalf of a user. Traceability needs to exist. It's a compliance requirement.

A module for Linux (esp Ubuntu, Fedora and SLED) would be very welcome.

Ganesh Prasad

Documentation seems to be for WSAS, not Identity Solution

I had a quick look at the documents under "docs". The file index.html takes me to the WSAS documentation. Regards, Ganesh

Please see wso2-identity-solution-1.0/lib/tomcat/webapps/documentation/index.html Also this is available here : http://wso2.org/project/solutions/identity/1.0/docs/index.html We will replace WSAS docs with the IS docs in the distro. Thanks for pointing it out :-) Thanks, Ruchith
