Carbon Studio oddities

The Carbon Studio program does not memorize the default workspace (as Eclipse normally does)! I have to first switch to the correct workspace each and every time after I start this program . Very annoying! ||-(   The "all-in-one" carbon studio distribution (cs-eclipse-jee-helios-win64-x86_64-1.0.14.zip) does not contain the server adapter "WSO2 Carbon remote server" (it only lists the three options "WSO2 Carbon (3.0.1|3.1|3.2) based server"). Now THAT I find really odd, since in my understanding one of the main purposes of this tool supposedly is to demonstrate how easy it is to develop for and deploy to the Carbon Stratos Live platform. Clicking the link "Download additional server adapters" also does not offer to download the missing adapter. So, how/where do I obtain that missing server adapter from so that I can deploy to Stratos live??? Michael

Re. the second item: Just found out, that one can download the missing adapter via the Carbon Studio update site (http://dist.wso2.org/p2/carbon-studio/releases/1.0.14/) using eclipse's normal update method. For some odd reason, that adapter is the only item that does NOT come preinstalled with the all-in-one package. M.

WSO2 Carbon Remote Server Adapter

Hi There is an issue in the carbon studio distribution (cs-eclipse-jee-helios-win64-x86_64-1.0.14.zip), as you mention it does not contain the sever adapter for WSO2 carbon remote server . This issue will be fixed in the future release. As a solution, You can point the online p2 repository to download the missing adapters. Regards /Jasintha

Thanks - that's what I did. Any idea on my other question, i.e. how to teach Carbon to memorize the last-used workspace? Michael
