Hi Matthew,

Did you try clicking on the "Install XPI 0.1" link just above the
products list display on the left hand corner?

If you do have dist.wso2.org in your allowed list you should see the
dialog box to install the extension.

Bye,

Hi,

Clicking on the "Install XPI 0.1" link does nothing.

Cheers,

Matthew

Hm... I was unable to reproduce this. I checked with FF 2.0.0.3 on
Windows as well as Linux (the binary from getfirefox.com) and both work
ok. Matthew, do you have Javascript disabled? Or have any other
extensions like Greasemonkey or Noscript? You could try disabling them
and trying to install the extension.

If that doesn't work, can you try opening up the URL directly to the
XPI from the browser? For Windows try -
http://dist.wso2.org/products/wsf/ajax/xpi/0.1/win_wso2_wsf_ajax_0.1.xpi
And for Linux try -
http://dist.wso2.org/products/wsf/ajax/xpi/0.1/wso2_wsf_ajax_0.1.xpi
and see what happens.

Bye,

Hi,

I'm running on Mac OS X (10.4.9) with JavaScript enabled and no
extensions. Opening the URL directly successfully loaded the extenstion.

Cheers,

Matthew

Right. I think the extension is only for Linux and Windows. My
attempts to test it on Mac failed. I got same results. I tried to
compile Axis2/C on a Mac hoping to include the libraries and bundle it
failed because of some errors compiling Axis2/C in Mac.

I'll try to get it compiled and include it in the extension. If you
can afford to do some compiling/testing Axis2/C on the Mac you're more
than welcome to do so :)

[wsf-ajax-user] Failing to install AJAX XPI 0.1

Hi,

I just tried to compile Axis2/C and it failed with lots of messages
complaining about: definition of _axutil_error_messages in section
(__DATA,__common). I have no idea what this about so I guess I'll just
have to leave this until such time as and when Axis2/C is available for
Mac OS X.

Cheers,

Matthew

[wsf-ajax-user] Failing to install AJAX XPI 0.1

Hi,

FF says that the extension is installed and enabled but when I go to the
Google test pages, I get a warning that:

The page at http://dist.wso2.org says: SOAPHttpRequest not defined:|
Click ok to go to the download page

Cheers,

Matthew
