Can use UserPrefs with dynamic data?

Hi everyone, I building a gadget that "must-have" in the UserPrefs an dynamic dropdown list, populated by xml data from my Data Services XML ( or somewhere else ). Well, i have done builing my graph ( using HighCharts ) : http: // lh5.ggpht.com/_9W-bLvZvQUQ/TH_Sn8fmXoI/AAAAAAAAAJE/yCY6Sf6L6Dg/s800/wso2.png But now i have to pass the value in the UserPrefs "Nome do Utilizador", not by typing directly but dinamically. How can i achieve this ? Any thoughts?
