Basic/Digest HTTP Authentication in endpoint configuration

Is it possible to specify an endpoint's username/password and authentication type (HTTP Basic/Digest etc.) in the endpoint configuration external to the BPEL process? The deploy.xml [1] or alternatively ODE's *.endpoint configuration [2] seem to support all kinds of HTTP related properties (timeouts, URL, proxy credentials) but it seems to miss the above properties (or its me that I am missing something obvious). I wish to have these credentials external so that if they need to change I won't need to change the actual BPEL process. Hi, I've also encountered

Hi, I've also encountered this problem and my idea is that ODE has a lot of issues and unwanted complications calling secured WebServices (both basic-auth and WS-Security). I hope we can found a simple solution with the help of WSO2 developers.
