Using IS as XACML engine

maduri.rn.gmail.com's picture
Hi, I have a few questions - 1. How do I change the port of IS console to something other than 9443? I have ESB running on my local as well. 2. I uploaded a XACML policy into IS and tried to evaluate request against it, however it returns with invalid XACML request. This request works in another ESB that we are using currently, so I know there are no syntactic issues. Please advise Thank you

Hi, I am relatively new to using the wso2 products myself, but I believe I can answer 1 of your 2 questions. The ports for the management console can be changed in the mgt-transports.xml file which resides in the "install home"/repository/conf directory. Hope that helps!

Re: Using IS as XACML engine

Hi Maduri, Sorry about the late reply. Answering this thinking it would be useful to any future visitor to the forum as well. If you could post the XACML policy and XACML request (with sample values for attributes), we could have pointed out what might be the reason for this. Further, I hope series of posts linked with this post :http://blog.facilelogin.com/2010/11/guide-to-write-xacml-policies-in-wso2.html will be helpful for understanding the anatomy of a XACML request and writting XACML policies with number of samples. Thanks, Hasini
