Can I implement REST on client side

HI,I have a service exposed through WSO2 ESB,and am using Apache-CXF and Spring for developing and publishing the web service...

Can I implement RESTful webservices from the client side to invoke the webservice.

I had a look at it before

I had a look at it before posting this,that shows the entry in synapse.xml......

but my question is am already having a webservice,how can i invoke the service using REST on client side....
is it possible,please give me suggestion on this...
