The Problem
-----------
The WSAS 2.2 admin services could be accessed by any user, without having to logging in. This means, any user, could manipulate the server instance. This is a huge security hole. The reason for this is, the wso2wsas-administration module not being engaged to the wsas admin services.

Here is a simple Maven2 pom.xml that will help you create an Axis2 project in seconds. Just download the attached the pom.xml file, copy it to a local directory, and from that directory type;

mvn idea:idea  ==> If you are using IntelliJ IDEA

or

mvn eclipse:eclipse ==> If you are using Eclipse

Prerequisites: Maven 2.0.7 or newer versions

In the next WSO2 WSAS release, we are planning to integrate some useful tools into the WSAS console. Some of these tools will include,

1. WSDL2Code -Generate code for a given WSDL. A UI for the Axis2 wsdl2java tool.

2. WSDL 1.1 to 2.0 converter

3. services.xml validator

4. module.xml validator

5. AAR validator

6. MAR validator

7. Try It! for a remote service. You will only need to provide the WSDL URI as an input parameter, and a DHTML client will be generated for the service.
