I am a committer & Project Management Committee (PMC) member of the Apache Web Services project. I joined WSO2 in January 2006. Currently working as a Technical Lead at WSO2 while contributing to Apache Axis2 and Sandesha2 projects.

My main technology interests are in distributed computing, SOA, Security and J2EE. I am currently working on Data binding, Reliable Messaging and Transaction handling.

I've actively contributed to the following projects at Apache & WSO2:

• Apache Axis2
• Apache Sandesha2
• WSO2 WSAS

I hold a B.Sc. first class honors degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and am currently reading for a Masters Degree in Computer Science specializing in Software Architecture. My masters thesis is “Building a Scalable and Transactional Web service Reliable Messaging implementations” . I am a Sun certified Java programmer and a Business Component Developer.
