I'm an Architect at WSO2 and am involved in developing vertical market capabilities for WSO2 products. I work across the WSO2 stack in developing these solutions. I'm also an Apache committer and contribute to on Apache Synapse and other ASF projects. I have over 10 years industry experience working on projects ranging from desktop to Web applications through to highly scalable distributed systems and service oriented architectures.
My focus area is SOA Governance, and I work on extending SOA Governance support in WSO2 products. I've also contributed to WSO2 Registry, WSF/C and WSF/Ruby projects.
With over four years of experience in developing CAD/Controller applications for Laser Marking Systems, I am also interested in image processing and computer vision. I developed an award winning barcode reader using webcam (SmartCamBCR) for my final year project at University and completed my internship at National University of Singapore under image processing. I specialized in C/C++, C# and Java technologies.
I have been using Open Source Software(OSS) since the beginning of my career in 2002. However, after joining WSO2 in November 2006, my association with Open Source Software took a dramatic turn. The atmosphere at WSO2 allowed me to go from being a mere OSS user to a OSS contributor. As such, I consider receiving commit-level access to Apache Web services project a honorary privilege.
